Ms. Hughes is  the Founder and CEO of Bridging The Gap Life Coaching and Transformation Academy, LLC , Transformation Home Fragrance and Bridging For Change Foundation, Incorporated. A dedicated advocate, she focuses on  empowering marginalized communities, particularly women, youth and  underserved populations. Through holistic coaching, she helps clients overcome challenges and achieve personal growth, with programs supporting survivors oft domestic violence, single mothers, aspiring entrepreneurs and students of HBCUs .  As an Accredited Life Coach, Ms. Hughes combines empathy and expertise  to guide clients through trauma and stress, fostering  empowerment and resilience.

​Miss Selenia W. Hughes joins the Bridging For Change Foundation, Inc. team as a Co-Director/Co-Founder and Apprentice. With a unique combination of community services experience from various nonprofit organizations and clubs such as: Chairman for March of Dimes, Top Teens of America, Girl Scouts, Junior NAACP, Junior NCNW- (Barbara Jordan) Youth Section, former Kingwood Park High School Cheerleading Team, current Award-winning FFA member of Kingwood High School Chapter,  Earned her Green Hand Degree, earned her State of Texas Florist Certification, Black Student Union-BSU member, Wrestling Team athlete,  Model United Nations-(UN) and English Honors Society member-Humble ISD, Miss Hughes brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Deidra is a nonprofit leader, digital strategist, and community advocate dedicated to building stronger communities and empowering change through service and storytelling. With years of experience in media, volunteer coordination, and nonprofit communications, she has developed a strong reputation for mobilizing people, amplifying voices, and creating meaningful impact in underserved communities. A proud graduate of the University of Houston, Deidra brings both academic knowledge and real-world expertise, bridging strategy with heart to create innovative approaches to digital storytelling and nonprofit growth. Her passion for service, creativity, and compassion will undoubtedly elevate our mission and strengthen our voice as we continue to serve and transform lives.

With nearly 30 years of experience in education and organizational development, she is a visionary leader, and faith-based leadership coach. She empowers leaders to implement transformative strategies grounded in faith and purpose through her innovative 6M Transformation Framework, driving sustainable impact and growth.
